nodriver is an asynchronous Python library that drives Chrome/Chromium directly over the Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP), bypassing Selenium and chromedriver. It launches or attaches to a browser process, manages tabs and browser contexts, exposes a high-level Element API for DOM queries and interaction (click, type, drag, screenshots, file upload), and includes generated typed bindings for 60+ CDP domains for low-level protocol access. The code is centered on `nodriver.start()` -> `Browser` -> `Tab` -> `Element`, with an asyncio WebSocket connection layer that maps request IDs to futures and dispatches CDP events.
