CloudDM (Cloud Data Management) is a full-stack web application for team-based database management. It provides a web console (Vue.js frontend, Spring Boot backend) connected to worker sidecars via RSocket RPC for executing SQL queries, browsing metadata, and administering databases. The system supports 20+ database types (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse, etc.) through a plugin architecture. Key features include a SQL editor with syntax highlighting and AI assistance, data masking and faker tools, security rule engines for SQL auditing, approval workflows for database changes, CI/CD pipelines (GitOps), and role-based access control. The codebase is modular with separate modules for console, sidecar, plugin SDK, and utilities, enabling extensibility. Although large and complex with significant dialect-specific duplication, the architecture demonstrates solid engineering practices with consistent SPI patterns, RSocket-based proxy infrastructure, and comprehensive integration tests.
