Crabbox is a production-grade, multi-provider remote development environment orchestrator. The core is a Go CLI that provisions ephemeral sandboxes, VMs, and containers across 60+ cloud and virtualization backends (AWS, Azure, GCP, Hetzner, Firecracker, Docker, KubeVirt, Nomad, and many delegated-run services). Users issue commands like `crabbox run`, `warmup`, `connect`, `ssh`, `vnc`, and `cp`; the CLI leases a remote host, syncs a workspace archive, executes commands or opens interactive sessions, collects artifacts and test results, and tears the resource down. A Cloudflare Worker/Node.js coordinator handles lease state, provider reconciliation, artifacts, and runtime-adapter relays, while a Swift/Virtualization.framework daemon supports Apple VM backends. This is an application, not a research or data-analysis project, though it emits operational telemetry and parses remote JUnit results as part of its execution pipeline.
