This is a full-stack satellite ground-station application for tracking satellites and celestial targets, controlling SDR/rotator/rig hardware, and receiving/decoding/recording radio signals. The backend is an async Python application using FastAPI-style Socket.IO command dispatch, SQLAlchemy with Alembic migrations, and multiprocessing workers for SDR acquisition, FFT processing, demodulation, decoding, and audio transcription. The frontend is a React + Redux Toolkit + MUI web application with real-time waterfall displays, map views (Leaflet/MapLibre), satellite pass timelines, a scheduler for automated observations, and a file browser for managing recordings and decoded telemetry. The system integrates with CelesTrak/Space-Track for orbital data, NASA JPL Horizons for celestial ephemeris, and supports a wide range of SDR hardware via SoapySDR and native drivers. While primarily an application, it includes data pipeline elements for TLE synchronization, transmitter database imports, and telemetry parsing, giving it a hybrid character.
