tremc is a console (curses) client for the Transmission BitTorrent daemon. It provides a full-featured terminal user interface for managing torrents: viewing lists, details, files, peers, trackers, and chunks; controlling torrent state (start, stop, pause, verify, remove); setting bandwidth limits, priorities, labels, and groups; and configuring server options. The application communicates with Transmission via its HTTP JSON-RPC API. It is a single-file Python script (~3000 lines) that integrates all functionality: argument parsing, RPC communication, curses UI, and configuration management. The code is well-structured with clear class separation (TransmissionRequest, Transmission, Interface, GConfig) and includes advanced features like config file preservation (ConfigParserUpdate), moving average normalization, and comprehensive keyboard-driven interaction. While monolithic, the RPC and config management components are cleanly isolated and potentially reusable.
