Twilight is a feature-rich, CMS-integrated static blog template built with Astro and Svelte. It serves as a personal website/portfolio platform supporting posts, diary entries, photo albums, project showcases, skills timelines, friend links, anime tracking, and a Live2D mascot. The architecture is a static site generator with client-side interactivity via Svelte 5 runes and Swup for page transitions. Content is managed via Decap CMS and stored in Markdown/JSON files within `src/content/`. The system includes a comprehensive theming engine (dark/light, wallpaper carousel, hue control), i18n with 16 languages, multiple comment engines (Waline, Twikoo), analytics (Umami), search (Pagefind), and a music player with Meting API integration. Deployment is adapter-agnostic (Cloudflare, Netlify, Vercel, EdgeOne). The codebase is well-organized with clear separation of concerns, custom remark/rehype plugins for enhanced markdown (admonitions, mermaid, GitHub cards, music cards), and a reusable widget system for sidebar components. While highly customizable and visually polished, it carries moderate technical debt from third-party dependencies, legacy Live2D library, and a large configuration surface.
