This repository is a comprehensive NixOS-based homelab configuration framework, built using the Clan project management tool. It provides declarative, version-controlled infrastructure for a multi-machine personal network, including servers, desktops, routers, and IoT devices. The system orchestrates over 30 self-hosted services (e.g., Caddy, Grafana, Grist, Blocky, NetBird, Zitadel) across machines with standardized monitoring, secret management, and backup. The architecture is modular: each service is a NixOS module with shared option patterns (`mkFeatureOptions`) and automated integration with Grafana dashboards, Gatus health checks, Homepage dashboards, and VictoriaMetrics scraping. The repo also includes extensive home-manager configurations for personal desktop environments (i3, KDE) and developer tooling. While the codebase exhibits high craftsmanship in its module structure and integration patterns, it is heavily personalized and contains deprecated/migrated services (Authelia → Authentik → Zitadel) and significant manual configuration steps. The most reusable aspects are the helper library for defining service modules and the monitoring integration framework.
