This repository provides a comprehensive Rust toolchain for developing Windows device drivers (WDM, KMDF, UMDF). It consists of multiple crates: wdk-sys (raw FFI bindings to the Windows Driver Kit generated via bindgen), wdk (safe idiomatic wrappers with utilities like SpinLock, Timer, and formatting), wdk-build (build configuration library used in build.rs scripts to set up compiler/linker flags and generate bindings), wdk-macros (procedural macros for safe WDF function calls), wdk-alloc (kernel allocator), wdk-panic (panic handler), and cargo-wdk (a cargo subcommand for scaffolding and building driver projects).
