O2OA is an open-source low-code development platform for enterprise collaborative office (OA) solutions. It features a JavaEE-based distributed architecture with a process engine, form/page customization, and business data services. The platform provides cross-platform support (Windows, Linux, Unix, ARM, etc.) and recommends production-ready databases like MySQL/Oracle/SQLServer. The system is organized into modular components including attendance, CMS, portal, process management, organization management, file handling, messaging, and AI integration. Backend uses Java with JAX-RS REST services, while frontend employs a custom MWF (O2OA Web Framework) alongside CKEditor for rich text editing. The architecture follows a layered approach with client-side UI components and server-side RESTful services, utilizing JPA for persistence and DTO patterns for data transfer.
