This repository is a hybrid: it is primarily a curated awesome list for Claude Code resources, but it is backed by a real automation layer that treats the README as a generated artifact. The single source of truth is a CSV resource table plus a config.yaml that defines category ordering; a Python script (generate_readme.py) renders the README, ticker SVGs, and recently-added carousels. The repo also includes GitHub Actions workflows that validate new resource submissions via issue forms, handle maintainer approval/rejection commands, and automatically open PRs to add approved resources. This makes it less of a static list and more of a self-maintaining content pipeline.
The LLM identified 5 files worth highlighting for reuse:
Fetches GitHub repository metadata (stars, watchers, forks) for a list of repos, computes deltas between runs, and appends to a CSV. The delta-tracking and idempotent CSV append pattern is reusable for any periodic GitHub metrics collector.
Renders a scrolling ticker SVG from repo ticker data, with declarative exclusion filters for owners, name substrings, exact names, and full names. The separation of filter logic from SVG rendering makes it adaptable to other ticker-style data displays.
Formats CSV rows into consistent markdown list entries with Shields.io badges, HTML escaping, and GitHub URL parsing. This is the core transformation for the awesome-list README and can be reused in any CSV-to-markdown pipeline that needs uniform entry formatting.
Adds, moves, and removes categories in config.yaml using line-oriented text splicing that preserves header comments and formatting. This is a reusable pattern for surgical YAML edits that must not clobber human-authored comments.
Provides category/subcategory lookups, parsing of composite dropdown values, and shared validation errors. It centralizes the rules for what categories are valid, making it reusable for issue-form validation, CSV validation, and README generation.
