This repository is a Claude Code/Pi skills framework for academic research and writing. It packages markdown skills, agent definitions, and Python tooling that together support the full research pipeline: topic discovery, deep research, paper writing, review, citation verification, and meta-analysis. The dominant character is application/tooling: it has CLI entry points, a Pi wrapper, dozens of lint/check scripts, and a large test suite. It is not a data pipeline, though it includes network-backed citation lookup scripts and research-oriented data-integrity checks.
The LLM identified 5 files worth highlighting for reuse:
Shared markdown utility that strips fenced code/comments, extracts link targets, and detects anchor-on-non-markdown issues. It is a self-contained parsing helper that can be reused in any markdown linting or documentation-validation pipeline.
Dependency-light Crossref API client used by the research pipeline for citation metadata lookups. The client isolates HTTP/JSON handling and can be extracted for bibliometric or reference-checking tools.
OpenAlex API client with network-import handling, used for citation and contamination-signal lookups. It demonstrates a clean external-API boundary and is reusable for research analytics or scientometric applications.
Looks up contamination signals across citation sources and explicitly handles unavailable services (e.g., SemanticScholarUnavailable). The pattern of normalizing unavailable responses into structured signals is reusable for data-integrity checks in research pipelines.
Drift guard that ensures the CI pytest manifest stays in sync with the actual test files. It is part of the repo's anti-drift tooling and can be adapted to any project that needs to enforce manifest/test-file consistency in CI.
